Vanang Prospecting

We refuse to believe the nonsensical conspiracy theories claiming that Phobos was hollow. Every measurement and observation of Phobos prior to the Superposition is consistent with it being solid. That the core was missing when it impacted Mars proves only that and nothing more: that the core was gone at the moment Phobos hit the ground.

Indeed, the remarkable turnaround of Vanang Prospecting’s fortunes suggests a rather startling possibility for the fall of Phobos and the Superposition itself: we hypothesise that they sold the core of Phobos to the Other Place in exchange for a fortune in magical artifacts, superpositioning our realities in order to enact the trade.

How else could Vanang Prospecting, with its worthless monopoly on Phobos mining, suddenly transform itself into the most profitable artifact trading house immediately following the Superposition? Vanang may have even had the means: although it was hidden by a series of holding companies, Vanang was a wholely owned subsidiary of Vava Tech Interplanetary. Was being the operative word - Vava Tech sold Vanang at a massive profit, just a few days before the ban on sparklecombing rendered the company worthless again.
